The objective of this event is to explore further exchange and collaboration between the Japanese and European research communities in the area of what is referred to as "New Generation Network (NWGN)" in Japan and "Future Internet (FI)" in Europe. It offers EU and Japanese researchers an opportunity to be updated on their respective research developments. The event is designed to address both industry and academic interests and to provide interested Japanese partners with an opportunity to participate in EU research related to the Future Internet. This event will introduce a broad set of research activities currently running in Japan and under the European 7th Framework Programme for collaborative research.
